Service!Plus is a pre-employment training program designed for youth just entering the workforce. While other Propane Training Institute courses cover propane-specific topics, Service!Plus courses focus on skills required in any job. Delivered by specialized trainers, Service!Plus provides outstanding skills development for Canadas youth. Service!Plus is comprised of three core courses and students are encouraged to take other courses from PTI if they are interested in working in the propane industry. Service! Course Number 700-02 Our customer service course will equip our students with the tools they will need to provide exceptional customer service. Key learning objectives include communicating effectively and efficiently, building successful relationships, and handling difficult situations immediately. Safety!Plus Course Number 900-04 One in thirty-four young Canadians are injured on the job. This course will help to reduce workplace injuries by providing the necessary skills to identify and eliminate workplace hazards. The course was created with the assistance of our Learning Partners the Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia and the B.C. Crime Prevention Association. Key learning objectives include understanding and identifying workplace dangers and hazards, developing successful attitudes toward safety, demonstrating good safety procedures, helping to prevent shoplifting, fraud and robbery in the workplace and protecting yourself in the event of an armed robbery. Career!Plus Course Number 700-04 Based on the internationally renowned programs of Brian Tracy, this course helps youth build winning career strategies they will use for the rest of their lives. Written in conjunction with our learning partner Brian Tracy International, this course covers key learning objectives such as using the seven keys to success, managing your career, displaying a positive attitude, unlocking your potential, taking responsibility, developing a successful personality, and setting and achieving goals.
